KCR To Test Waters In AP With Vizag Visit?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao appears to be going in a calculated manner with regard to interfering in the politics of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

He wants to see the reactions of people of Andhra before poking his nose in Andhra politics and taking a plunge into the electioneering there in support of YSR Congress party.

So, he has decided to make a visit to Visakhapatnam once again in the second week of February to test the waters there.

According to party sources, KCR is going to attend the anniversary celebrations at Sarada Peetham in Vishakhapatnam to be held from February 10 to 14 on the invitation of seer Swamy Swaroopanandendra.

Most probably, KCR will visit the Sarada Peetham on February 14, on the last day of the rituals and take part in the Purnahuti programme of the Raja Syamala Yagam.

It may be mentioned that Swamy conducted the Chandi Yagam for five days at KCR’s farm house in Erravalli recently.

Along with family members, KCR is to attend the program and offer special pujas on the occasion. Simultaneously, he will meet a host of YSRC leaders in Visakhapatnam to discuss the strategies.

The TRS chief has already commissioned an intelligence survey to find out the people’s reactions on his statements of giving “return gift” to the Telugu Desam Party.

If the situation is favourable, KCR will directly flow down to Vijayawada to attend the housewarming function of YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Tadepalli on the same day, party sources said.
