Keerthy Suresh is one of the top billed actresses in South Indian cinema. Following the super success of Mahanati, she kept charging as much as Rs 2 crores per project.
Incidentally, Keerthy, who has come on board for Chiranjeevi’s Vedhalam remake is charging a huge remuneration for the project.
As per reports, Keerthy is charging Rs 3 crores for this project. This is the highest remuneration she has charged for a project till date in her career.
Meher Ramesh was persistent on signing Keerthy Suresh for the project as he felt she would do complete justice to the role. So, he persuaded the makers to sign her for the project even if it meant they had to shell out big bucks.
Keerthy Suresh is a part of Chiranjeevi-Meher Ramesh’s Vedhalam remake now and she will be joining the shoot soon. She will play Chiranjeevi’s sister in the film.
