Kejriwal complains to Chandrababu about Congress

As someone who has been leading the anti-BJP front, AP Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party Chief N. Chandrababu have also played the role of a person who has created a balanced platform by convincing supremos of different regional parties across India. As the leader who is taking all these leaders together along with him, Chandrababu also has a duty to iron out differences between the allies when the need arises.

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal’s visit to Amaravati also was made in this direction. Kejriwal met Chandrababu Naidu on late Monday night and discussed how AAP is planning to contest for Lok Sabha in Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. However, he complained to Chandrababu that Congress has ruled out the possibility of an alliance with AAP and hence, this could indirectly benefit the BJP.

He informed the TDP chief that local Congress leaders in these states are not letting AAP have an alliance with Congress. Responding to this, Chandrababu said he will talk to Congress President Rahul Gandhi and ensure that the issue is sorted out. He also added that he will convince other regional allies in the respective states. Among other issues, Kejriwal also discussed the Common Minimum Programme.

Chandrababu assured to bring up the issue with Rahul on seat-sharing between AAP and Congress during his next Delhi visit which is scheduled for February 26th or 27th with an agenda to discuss the action plan of the Mahaghatbandhan with other leaders of the anti-BJP front.
