Kerala MP responded to MP Raghurama’s letter, extended his support

Kerala MP Premchandran has responded to a letter written by Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju alleging that he was tortured while in AP CID custody.

However, he condemned the behavior of AP CID. He said that torturing Raghurama, who is an MP, was an insult to Parliament. Prem Chandran said the issue would definitely be raised in the Parliament.

It is a known fact that MP Raghurama has penned separate letters to the MPs seeking their support in the Parliament. In the letter, Raghurama mentioned that AP CID officials and AP police used a third-degree on him while he was in custody.

On May 14, AP CID officials arrested MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju in Hyderabad and took him to the Guntur CID office for making remarks that would tarnish the image of the AP government.
