Key witness in YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case dies

Another big twist has taken place in the murder case of the former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. Gangadhar Reddy, the main witness in the murder case, has passed away under suspicious conditions.

As per reports, Gangadhar Reddy breathed his last in Yadiki, Anantapur district. Relatives say Mr Reddy died in his sleep at night. The police, who registered the case, are investigating the cause of death on suspicion. His body was shifted to Tadipatri Government Hospital.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has already questioned Gangadhar Reddy in the Viveka murder case. He was summoned to Kadapa in the past and questioned by the investigating officers three times. Mr Reddy is a follower of Devireddy Shankar Reddy, the accused of the murder case.

The deceased witness had already met the Anantapur SP for protection, as he was under threat of death. He complained that the CBI was threatening him to name the accused.
