Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s action thriller Khiladi directed by Ramesh Varma was released yesterday to good response from the critics and audience alike. The film produced on grand scale by Satyanarayana Koneru has impressed action movie lovers. And heroines Dimple Hayathi, Meenakshi Chaudhary offered glamor treat in the movie, while Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad provided chartbuster album.
Khiladi minted a total share of Rs 4.30 Cr on its opening day in Telugu states. While the movie raked 1.86 Crores in Nizam, it collected 1.88 Cr share in AP. As is known, there is night curfew in AP because of which there’s no permission for second shows in the state where theatres are running with only 50% seating capacity. Low ticket pricing is the other factor for the film’s decent performance in AP.
