In the latest episode of Koilamma, the music contest begins and many aspiring singers fail to compete with Manoj. Kokila is invited onto the stage. The organisers announce that Kokila and Manoj need to sing with the words that the audience give them. Kokila takes Manoj’s blessings before starting. This doesn’t go well with Ramesh Chandra. Amar backs Kokila. Manoj and Kokila begin the contest and eventually Kokila emerges the winner.
Ramesh Chandra walks onto the stage. He congratulates Kokila and belittles Manoj for the defeat. He says that even an acclaimed singer like Manoj has to experience defeat some day. He further hails Kokila for her victory. Kokila feels uncomfortable to talk to the press about her victory. Kokila gets a grand welcome at home. Ramesh Chandra heaps praises on Kokila for making him proud as his daughter-in-law and also the managing director of their audio label. Kokila asks him to keep up his promise.
Ramesh Chandra tells her that she can ask for anything other than Sindhu and Sameer’s wedding. This leaves her speechless. She discloses that she wanted to ask him to agree for their wedding. Ramesh Chandra replies that he is aware of her wish but the wedding is just impossible. He adds that the wedding isn’t the right thing to do both on professional and personal fronts as well. Amar and Kokila are disappointed by Ramesh Chandra’s response.
Ashok and Lakshmi are seen sleeping in a park. Ashok is lost in the thoughts of Kokila and her deceit. Meanwhile, the caretaker of the park arrives and asks Ashok to leave the place as they are not allowed to stay beyond 9PM.
