Koratala Siva turns out to be biggest loser of Acharya

Megastar Chiranjeevi has been part of 152 films till date and he has the highest number of successes for any hero. The percentage of hits is 55-62% say box office pundits.

And he has huge number of All Time Blockbusters and hit film collections have crossed the previous highest grosser of other heroes easily and he created new records with his hits.

Even before he became a huge star after Khaidi, he acted in almost 63 movies and all of them are not huge hits. And after becoming huge star also he delivered few flops that lost huge amounts. For him, success and failures are common with so much of experience.

Even Ram Charan saw enough number of hits and flops. But for director Koratala Siva, Acharya is the first flop in 5 films he directed. Every filmmaker delivers average or below average or flop at the box office and it is not easy to deliver a success every time.

In the case of Acharya though writer-director Siva worked for four years on the film like never before. He had to go through so much pressure due to pandemic and problems like availability of Ram Charan due to his commitments to RRR.

Acharya team had to wait for RRR to complete and also release, before they can decide on a release date. Hence, he had to follow a huge blockbuster like RRR and also match the expectations of fans after such an experience in theatres. This created extra pressure on the director as well.

He seems to have worked under severe pressure due to his own standards, expectations of fans and taste of Megastar Chiranjeevi and on top of all to match RRR experience.

Post release of the film while the opening number is shocking, the kind of reviews, word of mouth and trolls on the director are even more ruthless. Like Agnyathavaasi, this film also turned out to be reputation damager.

Trivkram Srinivas still faces huge number of trolls due to Agnyathavaasi from Pawan Kalyan fans. Koratala Siva has to immediately deliver a better film with Jr. NTR and prove that this is just a mishap and not career downer or ender.

Because of Acharya, he turned out to be the biggest loser as he lost reputation post release, time while making and he took percentage in profits instead of remuneration, means he loses money too. Like Trivkram Srinivas he has to deliver immediately with Jr. NTR after a mega hero film failure. Can he or not? Let’s wait and see.
