Young Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor proved she can carry author-backed roles with Gunjan Saxena. She is now busy with a handful of Bollywood projects and is open to the idea of starring in a straight Telugu film in the near future.
If the latest reports are to be believed, creative director Krishnavamsi is in pole position to launch Janhvi Kapoor in Tollywood.
Apparently, Krishnavamsi penned a female-oriented script during the lockdown period and he wants to rope in a top star for the film. He is hoping Janhvi Kapoor would like his story and come on board for the project.
Krishnavamsi has already initiated talks with Janhvi Kapoor’s delegation and even narrated the story to the young starlet. He is in touch with Janhvi’s father, Boney Kapoor now.
Janhvi is expected to convey her final decision very soon.
If things pan out as expected for Krishnavamsi, he will be directing Janhvi Kapoor’s debut Telugu film. He is presently busy with Rangamarthanda.
