Prabhas‘ Adipurush is one of the highly anticipated films in India. The film, which is in shooting mode, will be hitting the screens next year.
By now, we know that Kriti Sanon is playing the leading lady opposite Prabhas in this mythological film. She will be seen as Sita in the Om Raut directorial.
Now, the interesting news about Kriti Sanon’s role is that she is said to be shown as a daring Sita and not being helpless when Ravana abducts her. As per inside sources, the makers will be showing the lady power and presenting Sita as a warrior who fights with the demon king.
Om Raut already said that he will be showing Ramayan from a new perspective. The films which were made on Ramayan showed Sita as weak so far. But seems like Adipurush makers are trying to change this episode. However, it remains to be seen how the audience responds to these changes made by the makers to Sita’s role.
Adipurush features Prabhas as Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan essays the role of Ravan alias Lankesh.
