Finally, Chief Minister-in-eternal-waiting KCR has been placated. KTR, who has been keeping an unusually low profile after his father KTR scuttled all plans to anoint the former as the Chief Minister of Telangana state, has now got back to work. He is now taking active interest in the Graduate constituency elections.
With the TRS fighting deep anti-incumbency and demoralisation on account of two back-to-back defeats, KTR has taken the graduate constituency election, especially the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar constituency. He has now decided to plunge headlong into electioneering. He is busy these days holding meetings with the party’s leaders and cadres. He has talked to the MLAs and constituency level leaders on the issue of campaigning. He is ensuring that the whole party machinery is motivated to ensure a TRS victory.
After KCR’s sudden about-turn on making him the chief minister, KTR had kept to himself. For a few days, he was silent. Later, he did begin attending official functions. But, he did not even congratulate the victorious mayor and the deputy mayor of the GHMC. It was only after sometime that he had met mayor Gadwal Vijayalakhmi at her residence and congratulated her. Sources say that KCR has realised that his continued inactivity could ruin his image. Hence, he decided to become active again, sources say.
