TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu exuded the confidence of the TDP coming to power in AP after 2019 elections. At the same time, Chandrababu declared that his party will strive its best to give a tough fight to the TRS. Responding to the comments made by Chandrababu, Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao said that Chandrababu had never won elections on his own and he relied on the support of other political parties.
