Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president KTR’s son, Kalvakuntla Himanshu, has won a gold medal in the Behtar India campaign organized by DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance Co.Ltd.
Himanshu, who is an eight class student, studies in Oakridge International school. He happened to secure distinction position for collection 29,482 kg of recyclable wastage. In the school category, Khajaguda branch of Oakridge school has won a bronze medal for collecting 34,137 kg of recyclable waste.
On the eve of the grand finale, the campaign brand ambassador and actress Parineeti Chopra has presented the gold medal to Himanshu in Delhi. DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance Co.Ltd has also appreciated the management staff, Himanshu, and the Oakridge school’s MD Anoop Pabby on the efforts made.
Himanshu gathered newspapers, books, and other relevant material from his neighborhood. The credit goes to the teachers who have supported him and make him understand the value of environmental protection. The principal of the school expresed his joy over winning two awards for the school from DHFL.
