Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has been shooting for Koratala Siva’s Acharya, is all set to join the sets of Telugu remake of Lucifer from January end. The political drama will be directed by Mohan Raja and produced by NV Prasad and Konidela Productions.
Chiranjeevi will reprise the role of Mohanlal in the remake while young actor Satyadev plays another protagonist in this film. The latest buzz is that makers of the film are considering lady superstar Nayanthara to play a key role.
As per reports, the role is not the love interest of the lead actor, but the sister character which was originally played by Manju Warrier. However, nothing is confirmed yet. The makers are still waiting for the nod of Nayanthara.
Lucifer is a political drama directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The Malayalam film was a huge hit at the box office. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is waiting to complete the shoot of Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva. Star beauty Kajal Aggarwal will be seen playing the female lead in the film.
