Gopichand started his career with an unsuccessful film as a lead actor and then found huge success as a baddie in Jayam. He became a star with Varsham success and after Nijam, tried his luck as a lead actor with Yagnam and Ranam.
Both of them became hits and then Lakshyam consolidated his image as an action hero. Jagapathi Babu played elder brother role to Gopichand and Sriwass debuted as the director with the film, way back in 2007.Anushka Shetty starred in the film as the lead actress and it added to her growing popularity back in the day.
The combination is back together for Gopichand’s next, Gopi30. TG Viswa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla are producing the film on People Media Factory production house.The team annouced the news of Jagapathi Babu being cast in the film on the occasion of the veteran actor’s birthday. Movie is expected to be an out and out action entertainer.
Sriwass is directing this movie after facing disappointing result at the box office with his last film, Sakshyam starring Belamkonda Sai Srinivas and Pooja Hegde. Gopichand is currently busy shooting for Pakka Commercial movie in the direction of Maruthi Dasari and Raashi Khanna is playing his lady lead.
