One of the legendary directors of Telugu Cinema and the Dadasaheb Phalke award winner, K Vishwanath, has restricted himself to be an actor for the new generation, but for the old, he has made golden films like Sankharabharanam, Swathi Muthyam and many more.
If we notice K Viswanath’s journey as a filmmaker, it will give varied feelings for the kind of hard work he has done, his creative ideas and other facets. To explain the same to the current generation, filmmaker Janardhan Maharshi has come up with a documentary style biopic on Vishwanath, with the title ‘Viswadarshanam’.
The film has numerous statements given by various actors and technicians who have worked with this legendary director. Among all of them, Vishwanath’s generic statement is catching the attention now, if the teaser is anything to go by. He says, “I assume cinema as a bus and myself as a driver. Now the passengers are the audiences, and I’ve to take them in the right direction”.
This is one of its kind comparison for sure and also showcases the simplicity of such a great director who has won numerous awards and accolades for his work.
