The much-awaited first glimpse of Vijay Deverakonda’s LIGER is finally out. Meeting the expectations of his fans, the Rowdy actor is seen in his stylish best avatar, apparently never seen before an action avatar.
The nearly one minute video begins with an MMA commentator introducing Vijay as Liger, giving all the elevation to his character. “Introducing the boy from India… Slum Dog Of Streets Of Mumbai… The Chai Wala… Liger…”
Going by the glimpse released by the makers, we can assume that LIGER is about a slum boy fulfilling his big dream to represent the country in the fighting league. In the video, we can see Vijay preparing chai and selling it on the roads of Mumbai. He utters two small impactful dialogues in the video. “We are Indians,” he says, showing his love for the country. Needless to say, the “Vaat Lagaa Denge” shows Puri Jagannadh’s mark, and the director has done brilliant work while canning the action scenes.
Ramya Krishna appears as Vijay’s mother, while Ronit Roy is seen as his coach. However, the video didn’t show any glimpse of Legend Mike Tyson.
The film is being produced jointly by Bollywood’s leading production house Dharma Productions in association with Puri connects. The big-budget Pan India Movie is scheduled for release in theatres worldwide on 25th August 2022.
