Lockdown Extended: #Prabhas20 Release in Trouble

It has formally been decided by the government of India to extend the lockdown period until April 30.

All chief ministers have reportedly suggested not to allow movie screenings in theaters, large gatherings at any place that include movie shootings.

PM Modi will announce it formally.

Meanwhile, all leading producers are planning to hold a meeting shortly and decide the release dates and shooting schedules of forthcoming movies.

Insiders say Prabhas’s film will suffer big time if the lockdown gets extended further.

The untitled movie which is being referred to as #Prabhas20 canceled its lengthy Georgia shoot due to coronavirus. The film is scheduled for release in October.

Prabhas’s pedda nanna is opposing the idea of pushing this film to next year. But now they have no option if shootings are not permitted even in May. Either way, the period romantic movie may not meet the deadline of October.

The film is being produced by UV Creations and Krishnam Raju’s Gopikrishna Movies. Radha Krishna Kumar is directing while Pooja Hegde is the heroine.
