In view of Corona virus, the Centre has imposed three weeks lockdown. Except for transport of essentials, nothing is being allowed to move from one place to another. Yet there is a criticism that in India, the lockdown is not being implemented with effective and as a result the cases toll is going up.
When it comes to implementing lockdown with utmost seriousness, Andhra Pradesh state received first place. In a survey conducted by NDTV media, Andhra Pradesh has been ranked the most successful Lockdown state in India.
“Andhra Pradesh has been ranked the most successful Lockdown state in India by @ndtv. By obeying the strict measures laid out by the Govt., we are breaking the chain of #Covid19. I urge you all to #StayAtHome & not worry because you are in safe hands. #APInSafeHands,” tweeted AP transport minister Nani.
Kerala and Karnataka are the next states with successful lockdown implementation. In these three states, Corona positive cases have drastically come down in the last few days which is a good sign.
Contrary to the successful lockdown, AP CM YS Jagan wasn’t in a mood to prolong it further as the state’s revenue is dipping with each day passing.
