Lokesh can never hope to become AP CM, says ex-TDP leader

Former MLA and senior film producer Chengala Venkat Rao, who is now out of the TDP, has passed sensational comments about Lokesh Babu’s future. He said that the TDP would never come back to power and that there was no question of Nara Lokesh becoming the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the TDP has no future.

Rao, who was a diehard follower of the TDP and has fought several elections, has said that Lokesh can never hope to become the CM of the state. He also said that sincere party workers would never be recognised and rewarded in the TDP. He said he had waged several people’s battles but Chandrababu has never recognised his contribution.

He said that Chandrababu Naidu is anti-Dalit. He said the politics of back-stabbing have begun only with Chandrababu Naidu. Calling Chandrababu power-hungry, he said that he would go to any extent to grab power. He said that only YSRCP would come back to power in the state in 2024 elections. He said YS Jagan’s rule is pro-people and several targeted schemes were helping the poor and the under-privileged.

Chengala Venkat Rao used to be a well-known film producer. As a film producer, he had made block-buster Samarasimha Reddy with Chandrababu’s brother-in-law and film star Nandamuri Balakrishna. He has produced several other hit films. He was a former MLA from Payakaraopet in Visakhapatnam district.
