The stage is all set for the entrance of Chandrababu Naidu’s son and party general Secretary Nara Lokesh into electoral politics. The youngest leader in the party, Lokesh will file his nomination papers for MLC post on March 6 in Amaravathi.
Lokesh, along with his father Naidu and other senior TDP leaders will submit the papers to the officials. After getting elected as MLC under the MLA quota, Lokesh will be inducted in Naidu’s cabinet on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi festival. Arrangements are already under progress to allot a minister berth to Lokesh in the temporary secretariat in the new state capital.
Naidu instructed all his cabinet colleagues to train Lokesh to perfectly discharge his duties as a minister. Lokesh is likely to be given the portfolio of Industries, IT and Panchayat Raj departments.
