Lord Balaji Temple To Be Built In Jammu & Varanasi

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthamans have decided to build a temple for Lord Venkateswara in the new union territory Jammu. The EO of TTD Anil Kumar Singhal and Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy confirmed the news and they will be visiting Jammu to zero in on the appropriate place for the construction of the temple.

There was a total of seven places proposed by the Jammu administration and the temple authorities have shortlisted four from them. A team of senior engineers and temple architects has confirmed the best sites to build the temple.

Among the short-listed four sites, one is to be finalized on Saturday and the construction may begin by the end of 2020. The site identified as the best for building Lord Venkateswara temple, the site will be handed over to the TTD right away, so the designs and carry out estimates will be finalized in the next stage.

Along with the construction of the temple in Jammu, the TTD has plans to build one in Varanasi.
