Vishnu Manchu, the President of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), has released a strong statement condemning the recent hurtful comments made about families in the film industry, particularly targeting Samantha Ruth Prabhu. In his statement, he emphasized the importance of mutual respect and trust within the industry, expressing dismay over the exploitation of false narratives for public or political gain.
Manchu asserted that while artists are accustomed to public scrutiny, their families deserve the same respect and protection as any other family. He urged politicians and influential figures to refrain from using actors’ names and their families in political discussions or for gaining attention. He highlighted the pain caused by baseless allegations and called for dignity to be extended to all individuals.
Manchu further emphasized the sacredness of families and the immense suffering caused by false narratives. He stressed the need to leave personal lives out of public discourse. Assuring the film fraternity of their united stand against any harm aimed at its members, Manchu declared that he would not be a mute spectator if anyone tries to target his colleagues. The MAA will not tolerate any such abuse, he firmly stated.
