South Indian heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda is set to return to the silver screen with his highly anticipated film “Family Star,” releasing on April 5th, 2024. The movie reunites Deverakonda with director Parasuram Petla, who helmed the successful romantic comedy “Geetha Govindham” in 2018.
Produced by Dil Raju, “Family Star” has completed filming and promotional activities are in full swing. The first two songs, “Nandanandanaa” and “Kalyani Vachaa,” received positive audience response. Building on this momentum, the makers released the third song, “Madhuramu Kadha,” to coincide with the Holi festival.
“Madhuramu Kadha” is a melodious track that explores the heroine’s feelings for the hero. The first song, “Nandanandanaa,” showcased Deverakonda’s character falling for the leading lady, played by Mrunal Thakur, as they danced on the streets of Hyderabad. In contrast, “Madhuramu Kadha” depicts Thakur’s character’s affection for Deverakonda, featuring her dancing on foreign streets in a beautifully shot montage song. The visuals capture sweet moments shared by the lead couple, further amplifying the emotional connection.
Gopi Sundar’s composition for “Madhuramu Kadha” strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and a touch of classical influence. Lyricist Sri Mani complements the melody with equally evocative words. However, it is the captivating voice of Shreya Ghoshal that elevates the song to another level. Both Deverakonda and Thakur deliver visually stunning performances, further enhanced by the inclusion of behind-the-scenes footage in the music video.
The technical team behind “Family Star” boasts a strong lineup. AS Prakash takes the reins as art director, while KU Mohanan handles cinematography. Marthand K Venkatesh is entrusted with the editing duties.
With anticipation building and a promising new song released, all eyes are on “Family Star” to deliver Vijay Deverakonda a well-deserved commercial success.
