Mahesh Babu also today announced a whopping Rs 1 crore money to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CM Relief funds as his part to help the governments to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
“Lauding the exemplary efforts of our Government in tackling the CoronaVirus and doing their best to contain it. To support them in this fight, I’ve decided to do my part, contributing Rs.1 Crore to the CM Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,” he posted on social media.
He further asked everyone to make contributions in their way.
“I request everyone who can, to come forward and make a donation towards the cause. Every contribution will make a tremendous difference!” he continued.
Mahesh Babu who earlier tweeted six golden rules to follow in the current situation reiterated that all should follow the rules.
“As a responsible citizen, I urge everyone to abide by the rules and support the lockdown. In these tough times, we have to stand by each other and protect our own. Humanity will rise and we will win this war. Until then, #StayHomeStaySafe Yours Truly Mahesh Babu,” he posted.
Earlier in the day, Pawan Kalyan announced Rs 2 Crore and Ram Charan contributed Rs 70 lakhs. While director Trivikram announced Rs 10 lakhs each to Telugu governments, Koratala Siva has added Rs 5 lakhs to each.
