Makers Keeping ‘Chatrapathi’ Away From Telugu States!

As everyone knows, Rajamouli and Prabhas’ blockbuster movie ‘Chatrapathi’ which came back in 2005 is being remade with the same name in Hindi. Telugu hero Bellamkonda Srinivas is the hero in this remake which is being handled by star director VV Vinayak. The movie is hitting the screens on 12th May. When a Telugu hero does a Hindi movie, it will automatically get released in Telugu. But the makers are keeping the ‘Chatrapathi’ remake away from the Telugu states. Apart from releasing it in a few multiplexes, they are not releasing it in AP or Telangana.

With a lot of Telugu people involved, everyone wanted to see how the remake version turned out when it got released. But many people are thinking that the makers wanted to stay clear of trolls and memes. Also, it has been a long time since Bellamkonda Srinivas’ movie arrived in Telugu. After disasters like ‘Saakshyam’, ‘Kavacham’ and ‘Sita’, ‘Rakshasudu’ arrived and became successful. After that, ‘Alludu Adhurs’ came out and ended up as a failure. Releasing ‘Chatrapathi’ will be a huge plus but the makers went against this plan.

The promotions have begun but the Telugu audience are not all aware of it. No one knows the reason behind and people are having their own assumptions. Let us wait and see what happens.

Nushratt Bharuccha is the heroine in this movie. Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios is producing the project, while Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Akshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment will distribute the movie worldwide. KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story for the original is the writer for the remake version as well. Nizar Ali Shafi who worked for several Telugu and Tamil movies cranked the camera, while Bollywood’s upcoming composer Tanishk Bagchi scores the music. The cast includes Sreenivas Bellamkonda, Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika, Jason and others.
