Kollywood actress and model Meera Mithun has recently made it to the headlines after she passed derogatory comments against the people belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST).
The actress has now been arrested by the Crime Branch today, August 14. According to reports, she was found in Kerala. A video of Meera screaming and yelling before she got caught has now surfaced online. In the video, the actress stated that there are Police in her room trying to arrest and harass her.
Meera Mithun also warned that she would kill herself if the Police tries to arrest her. She appealed to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the video.
The Police have filed a case under sections 153, 153A(1)(a), 505(1)(b), 505 (2) of IPC and several sections under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.
