Megastar Chiranjeevi is not taking huge time to complete his upcoming film ‘Acharya’ that has Koratala Siva directing it. What is more exciting about this movie is its theme, which actually revolves around temples and temple lands. Here comes an interesting snippet about the changes being done to the movie.
Director Koratala Siva is someone who has communist ideologies in him and he loves to talk about social responsibility and equality all the time. However, as he touched the subject of temples and temple lands getting occupied/encroached by politicians, some scenes are said to have turned out like pro-Hindutva agenda. And now, both Chiru and Koratala have taken a call to chop out those scenes.
As Megastar wants to make sure that there is no Hindutva tone in the film such that it will not attract any political support or criticism, Koratala is said to be re-writing certain scenes to match neutrality. In recent times, pro-Hindutva and anti-Hindutva have become a big agenda in India where people got split, fighting and rioting. So ‘Acharya’ has to take that extra care for sure.
