Despite claiming that he is not a godfather of this industry, Megastar Chiranjeevi is still taking the responsibility of bringing Tollywood together. The meeting with Telugu film industry bigwigs which was supposed to happen on Monday has been reportedly postponed to Tuesday i.e February 8th. Apparently, they are going to discuss the issues they are going to speak with Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. All the council heads along with Film Association members will be taking part in this meeting and sources say that Megastar is going to lead it.
Chiranjeevi had a lunch meeting with CM Jagan previously and he explained the industry’s problems to YS Jagan in a detailed manner. Issues like theatre owners’ finances, hardships faced by the daily workers of industry and others have been taken into the notice of AP’s Chief Minister. Chiranjeevi stated that Jagan responded in a positive manner and promised that all the problems will be solved soon. He asked everyone to stay patient and not say something erratic in front of the public till then.
Even Nagarjuna expressed his happiness over the positive outcome of Chiru’s meeting with Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chiru’s role in the meeting of film industry bigwigs is going to be very important as per reports. Also, they are aiming to hand over a proposal to the committee formed by the AP government. This particular meeting has gained a lot of significance both in film and political circles. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
