The suicide case of Telangana BJP activist Sai Ganesh had kick-started a political storm in the state. The Telangana wing of Bharatiya Janata Party had started to target the ruling TRS on the issue. BJP had assured support to the family of the victim in this row.
The issue had reached the High Court and the court served notice to Telangana Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay to give a response on the issue and file a counter affidavit on the issue.
The next hearing was adjourned to the 29th of this month. Ajay is accused in the case as the victim’s family and BJP is accusing that he had harassed Sai Ganesh which forced him to take the extreme step.
As another development in the case, Puvvada Ajay took part in a gathering held by the Kamma community in Telangana. Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that he is the only Kamma leader in Telugu states to hold a Minister post. Talking about AP, Ajay said thatKodali Nani used to be a Minister, but he was not retained.
Adding further, Puvvada Ajay had alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to target him as he hails from the Kamma community. Without talking about the case, he alleged that by using a small case, people are targeting him and the pseudo-Chowdaries are giving their hand in this. His comments started a new doubt if the Minister wants to use his community as a shield.
