It’s an open secret that social media played a big role in setting a tone for Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) for the 2014 elections. Post the election media there is no stopping for the saffron party.
The image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah kept on growing with the party winning the second term elections quite comfortably.
Everything went in BJP’s way till the deadly second wave of Coronavirus came into the picture. The second wave resulted in BJP, Narendra Modi, and Amit Shah facing severe criticism on handling the crisis.
To everyone’s surprise, social media, which helped BJP scripting history by winning the elections is now irking the party. BJP haters and the general public are showing their anger towards the party on social media.
Now social media platforms are filled with memes and jokes against the BJP leadership for failing to tackle the virus spread.
The National Students’ Union of India(NSUI) filed a complaint with the Parliament Street police station alleging that Amit Shah is missing when the country is going through a crisis.
In the complaint, NSUI national general secretary Nagesh Kariyappa said that the politicians should serve the nation during the crisis., When the country is going through a crisis, Amit Shah is missing, he said.
The NSUI said that Amit Shah is missing in action since the election results of the West Bengal general elections were out.
