Pooja Hegde needs no introduction to cine-goers in India. The dusky diva is one of the most sought after actresses in South India and is currently in top form with big-budget films. Having made her acting debut with Mugamoodi in 2012, the 30-year-old actress has almost attained top status in the Telugu film industry.However, YSRCP MLA Roja’s husband, RK Selvamani, has criticised Pooja Hegde for constituting unnecessarily high production costs.
In his latest interaction with media, he said that Hegde used to attend the shootings with 1 additional person during the initial stages of her career. But after attaining stardom, the actress has started to bring as many as 12 people (personal team) to shooting locations, adding more burden on the producers.
“Why does she need so many people around her? She needs to avoid intentionally invoking high production costs, which will affect the filmmakers,” he said. Now, Selvamani’s serious comments on Pooja Hegde are going viral on social media.
