Common man of India has become broken-hearted and low-spirited post November 8 that was considered to be the dark day for India owing to the implementation of demonetization of high currency notes. From then on the government let RBI making as many as 60+ amendments out of confusion with the prevailing situation. As such, people turned panic and grief-stricken with the union government’s strange decisions. Opposition parties are alleging that people turned panic with the existing situation and Modi appeared like a nightmare for them. In this scenario, the Congress Party sought the answers from the union government for the following questions.
* How much black money unearthed since the 8th of November, 2016?
* What is the economic loss with for the nation with demonetization? How many jobs and livelihood have been lost ever since demonetization?
* How many lives have been lost due to demonetization? Why hasn’t the government not paid any compensation for the families of the deceased?
* What was the process and consultation and preparedness followed prior to the implementation of demonetization? Why were experts, economists and RBI’s officials not consulted before implementing demonetization?
* Will the government place the names of all persons and institutions and entities that deposited Rs.25 lakhs or more in the banks in six months preceding the 8th of November, 2016?
