The day before yesterday, the entire nation obliged PM Narendra Modi’s call and have shown their participation in this fight with the COVID-19 pandemic by expressing their spirit. Irrespective of community, religion and political favor every Indian got on their feet and lightened candles.
Now it is time for Modi to support the states which are hit badly by this COVID-19 pandemic and provide some economic support for them so that they can come out of this severe economic crisis. Especially, Andhra Pradesh’s position is too bad and the center need to release the funds which are being held for months.
Modi tactically made a phone call to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and spent more time with Reddy in call enquiring about the situation in Andhra Pradesh and asking the future prospects the state government is going to take.
Jagan also described Modi about the plans they adopted and later they asked him about the Rs. 5,000cr funds which are to be released by the center yet. Jagan even reminded that he already sent a letter to the PM office regarding these funds and explained to him that these funds would be more useful if they are released in this crisis situation.
Reportedly, Modi said that he is aware of that letter but hasn’t given any conclusion about those funds. Modi, being the PM of the country need to come in aid with the state governments in this crisis situation and phone calls won’t do anything good at this stage.
Now, is it clear that Modi has no intention to release those funds to Andhra Pradesh in the near future but would make phone calls to enquire situation to pose like he is caring for this Telugu state the most?
