Veteran actor Mohan Babu is back to the big screen after a two-year hiatus with a new film titled Son of India. Although the star actor played a cameo in Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru, this will be his first lead role after the break.
The much-anticipated film has been in the shooting mode in Hyderabad. Known for blockbusters like Assembly Rowdy, Major Chandrakanth, Allari Mogudu and Pedarayudu, Mohan Babu is also providing the screenplay for this film.
Tipped to be an action entertainer with a patriotic theme, the 68-year-old actor will be seen in a never-seen-before powerful role. The latest update is that makers of the film have locked a date to unveil the first look on 29th January.
Jointly produced by 24 Frames Factory Banners and Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, the film is helmed by popular dialogue writer Diamond Ratna Babu. Maestro Ilayaraja is composing the music while Sarvesh Murari is handling the camera.
