By now, Telugu audiences are well aware that Mokshagna is Balakrishna’s heir apparent in the industry.
For the past year or so, there have been rumours of his making an entry. In fact, it was said that Rajamouli, Krish were being considered to handle his debut project. Producer Sai Korrapati’s name was also doing rounds.
Though many rumours were floating around, Balakrishna too did not make any formal announcement.
Then came the big news that Mokshagna will be playing Balakrishna on screen in his grandfather NTR’s biopic. While the unit of the film confirms the news as true, they say that nothing else has been decided upon.
NTR’s biopic will go on the floors in March 2018. But his solo entry as a hero will take longer and could happen only in 2019.
Elections are likely to happen towards the end of 2018, during which time Balakrishna will be busy with elections. So he can get on to the project only in 2019.
Also, there is another rumour. It is said that not many are sure of Mokshagna’s interest in becoming a hero. Had he been really keen, a film would have happened by now say people close to Balakrishna.
