Former minister Motkupalli Narasimhulu has resigned to the Bharatiya Janatha Party. He announced his resignation on Friday morning and sent the letter to party state president Bandi Sanjay.
As per reports, the veteran leader will soon join the TRS party in the presence of Chief Minister KCR. Reports suggest he will get a Rajya Sabha seat or an MLC post for joining the ruling party of Telangana.
Motkupalli had attended the recent meeting organized by KCR on Dalit Bandhu. After the meeting, he spoke to the media and showered praise on KCR. He said goodbye to the TDP in November last year.
The BJP leaders felt that if Motkupalli joined their party, it would be further strengthened in Telangana. However, not even staying there for a year, Narsimha has now bid adieu to BJP. He served as the Minister of Mines, Electricity, Social Welfare and Tourism in the NTR Cabinet. In 1983, he won for the first time as a TDP MLA from Alair.
