Narsapuram YCP Rebel MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju penned to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the letter, he urged Modi to focus on Andhra Pradesh’s financial situation.
Raghurama mentioned in the letter that the AP government was incurring debts in violation of the FRBM Act and it was transferring government assets to the corporation and mortgaging them for free schemes. He said that the Andhra Pradesh Development Corporation and has already taken loans of Rs 10,000 crore from various banks and currently, the government is in talks with the banks to bring in another Rs 3,000 crore for free schemes. He mentioned that due to overdue debts the govt has to pay Rs 35,000 crore as interest from next year. Raghurama asked Modi to take immediate action against the YCP government.
