MP Revanth Reddy tests Covid-19 positive, goes into isolation

There is no stopping for the novel Coronavirus in Telangana. Days after hundreds of students studying at various schools have come in contact with the respiratory disease, an MP has tested positive for the virus.

Congress Malkajgiri MP, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president Revanth Reddy has tested positive for the Coronavirus pandemic. The MP announced the same.

The Firebrand leader took to Twitter to announce the news of getting infected with the Coronavirus. In the tweet he said, he went into isolation going by the doctors’ advice and urged everyone who came in contact with him to undergo tests.

“I have been tested positive for covid and isolated myself on doctor’s advice. Who ever has been in contact from the past few days, please take necessary precautions…,” Revanth Reddy tweeted.

Telangana reported as many as 337 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total toll of cases to 3,03,455. With two people breathing their lives in the same period, the total fatalities related to the virus zoomed to 1,671.
