Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju responded to the ‘disqualification petitions’ filed by YSRCP MP Bharath against him. Recently, YCP MPs have lodged a complaint with the Lok Sabha Speaker seeking disqualification of YCP rebel MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju alleging that he is acting against the party and CM Jagan. However, Raghurama reacted strongly to this. He said that the disqualification charges are invalid. The decision of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha has now become crucial.
Raghurama said that he had not teamed up with any other party contrary to the ruling party and hence expressed confidence that these disqualification charges are invalid. It seems like if Speaker disqualifies him, he raises the failed disqualification attempt of Telangana minister Ch Malla Reddy, who defected to TRS from TDP in 2015 and continued in TRS as TDP MLA till 2018.
