MWC 2019: New smartphone with 18,000mAh battery, folding display

This year, the MWC will be seeing a lot of innovation from the smartphone industry. And along with that, a lot of promises to what the consumer will witness in the near future. And believe it or not, a company that is known for its batteries has announced that they will be breaking their barrier. Yes! A new smartphone that will sport record 18,000mAh batteries, folding displays and popup cameras.

Energizer, a company known for its long-lasting batteries, has made an announcement that they will be

unveiling not one, or two, but 26 different smartphone models at the MWC 2019. Well, it is no surprise that new companies are emerging into the smartphone space to get a bite of the big pie.

Energizer has announced that flagship features such as larger than imagined batteries, folding displays and popup cameras will be showcased, and these will be part of different series of smartphones. These include the Power Max, Ultimate, Energy and Hardcase lineups. While most will be in the budget (feature phone) range, the flagships will be a sight to wait for. In this line of phones being launched, the Power Max P16K and Power Max will be the highlights as they will feature the largest batteries (16000mAh and 18000mAh respectively) the smartphone industry has ever seen.

As for now, there are not many leaks about the specifications of any of these phones. However, some details that are known so far are processors such as MediaTek’s P70 and P22 being used, motorized popup cameras, up to 6GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, and large batteries up to 18000mAh are said to be witnessed on some of these phones.

The phones are said to be manufactured by a French company names Avenir Telecom under the Energizer license.
