Nag Ashwin showcases his directorial prowess with Mahanati which turned out to be a sensational hit at the box office. He took his own sweet time to pen his next script and eventually managed to impress Prabhas with it. The duo will be coming together for their next project, which will hit the floors in July.
Speaking about the project, Nag Ashwin said he and his team are designing a new virtual world as they are creating something that was never seen in Indian cinema till now.
“For Mahanati I could rent cars and other accessories. But I can’t do anything of that sort for my next project with Prabhas. Every minute aspect of the film requires utmost attention and detailing. We are designing a new style of costumes, cars and other accessories for the film,” Nag Ashwin said.
Nag Ashwin revealed that the unit is planning to commence shoot in July and more details about the project will be announced as the launch date approaches.
This as-yet-untitled sci-fi thriller will have Prabhas, Amitabh Bhachchan, and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. Vyjayanthi Movies are funding the project.
