Naga Chaitanya pinned a lot of hopes on ‘Custody’ but it failed badly. He is working under GA2 Pictures banner right now and Chandoo Mondeti is the director of it. The movie is going to have the backdrop of fishermen and it is going to be an emotional drama.
Chaitanya’s character is going to be very interesting and ‘Tandel’ is being considered as the film’s title. Apparently, Allu Aravind decided to spend big on the movie and the team is quite confident that this movie has the same potential as ‘Rangasthalam’ and ‘Uppena’ which were pura rural dramas as well.
There is a lot of talk going on about Chitanya’s next film after Chandoo’s project. The first name to be heart is Ram Abbaraju. He gained a good reputation after ‘Samajavaragamana’ and the director is in a lot of demand now. Sources say that he narrated a story to Chaitanya and it is a complete entertainer that revolves around divorce. While the line is impressive, Chaitanya decided to not get into any controversy as he is divorced from heroine Samantha in real life.
Insiders say that he suggested a few changes to Ram Abbaraju and if it works out, the movie may definitely go on floors. As Chaitanya and Chandoo Mondeti’s film is a pan-Indian project, it may take at least six months to get completed. Ram Abbaraju has a lot of time on his hands to perfect the script according to Chaitanya’s wishes. Let us wait and see if this combination happens or not.
