Akkineni Nagarjuna is taken aback by the failure of his latest movie Manmadhudu 2 that he won’t want to touch the commercial genre for a while. And he is coming up with “Wild Dog” under the direction of writer turned director Solomon very soon.
An interesting update is that the film actually features the twin blasts of Gokul Chat and Lumbini Park that rocked Hyderabad city in 2008 as the major theme of the film. While Nagarjuna plays the role of an encounter specialist who works for the NIA, he will be seen as the main officer assigned to track and solve the twin blasts case that shook the whole of India back then.
The film has Bollywood beauty Dia Mirza playing the role of Nagarjuna’s wife and Rey movie fame actress Sayami Kher will appear as investigating officer alongside the hero. After wrapping their shoot in Mumbai, recently the unit are starting to film in Hyderabad where the sets of Gokul Chat and other places are being erected.
