Currently, Akkineni Nagarjuna is busy prepping for the role he has to play in Manmadhudu 2, as he has various doubts regarding the film because he is not sure if people still accept him as that handsome wooing guy, that too after the recent debacles like DevaDasu.
Though Nag has initially declined that they have no idea of bringing his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s life to the silver screen, we hear that the seed got sowed by looking at the current trends and he wanted to make a web series of ANR’s life. However, all that got smashed now and the actor will not be touching that film even in his remotest dreams.
Reportedly Nagarjuna is said to have seen #NTR Biopic through a Qube print at his close friend’s house, who happens to be a big businessman and a close aide of a former CM. While the film is okay all the way, the both started wondering why people haven’t embraced it. Unable to understand why Mahanati clicked and #NTR doesn’t, this Akkineni hero is said to be dropping all the plans to make web series also.
Cinema observers feel that if at all biopics need to be made, then people will have respect for them if someone outside the family of these legends makes them, rather the family members trying to cash on their predecessors.
