Film producers and film trade is hoping that filmgoers will throng to the theaters in big numbers when the cinemas are back in business.
Enjoying movie in a cinema hall is one of the favorite timepass for many in Telugu States. They are surely missing watching movies in theaters due to corona crisis.
However, there are some concerns among trade circles regarding the corona scare.
‘Will people come to theaters like before? Wouldn’t they be scared of contacting the disease from the infected in a closed air-conditioned theatre?’ is what trade is sceptical about.
A big release starring a popular star will definitely bring audiences to the theaters irrespective of the circumstances, is what some industry people believe.
Nani’s V is the only big release that is ready for release. So, Nani’s film holds the key for Tollywood’s comeback after the crisis. Exhibitors are hoping that V will be released immediately after the cinemas are back in operation.
But Dil Raju may take sometime to release V after the restrictions on cinema theaters is lifted. A big movie like V needs to be promoted aggressively before hitting the screens.
