These days, a ‘solo’ release date really matters for any film. Perhaps big budgeted films manage to get such release because of the chance they will get to mint huge money in a week. And that has led to announcing of release dates much in advance.
Film Industry buzz is that actually, Nagarjuna is looking forward to releasing his upcoming film, Manmadhudu 2 on August 30th. But suddenly, hero Nani has come into the scene as his makers of Gang Leader has other day announced that the film will hit cinemas on the very same date. And that led Akkineni camp into thinking, a source from trade says.
However, with Nagarjuna and his team never announcing anything about their film, how would anyone give space to them for a release date? Forget about the release date, till date there is no clarity if they are naming the film ‘Manmadhudu 2’ or not.
Under the direction of Rahul Ravindran, Nag has recently wrapped the Portugal schedule of Manmadhudu 2. The film features Rakul Preet in the lead, while Samantha and Keerthy Suresh are appearing in guest roles.
