Natural star Nani is a very busy man these days. He is working on the dubbing and promotions of ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ which is releasing on 10th June. Along with that, he is doing a rustic action film named ‘Dasara’ which has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead. His last film ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ turned into a good hit and he is producing a couple of films too.
Apart from ‘HIT – 2’ with Adivi Sesh, he also bankrolled a film titled ‘Meet Cute’. This film was directed by his sister Deepthi Ganta. News is that Netflix has acquired the rights for this movie and it is going to have a direct OTT release.
This is an anthology film that features Shiva Kandukuri, Sathyaraj, Ruhani Sharma, Adah Sharma, Varsha Bollamma, Deekshit Shetty and others in key roles. Such concept-oriented films are well received in OTT platforms rather than theatres and it is a fact. Realizing this, Nani and Co reportedly took this decision.
Nani had tough luck with OTT releases as movies like ‘V’ and ‘Tuck Jagadish’ in which he was the hero failed to impress the audience. Now, he is having another OTT release but as a producer. Let us see if luck favors Nani or not.
‘Meet Cute’ will deal with five different stories and Bulganin is the music composer while Vasanth Kumar is the cinematographer. Hope the film becomes successful.
