It is already known that Taxiwala fame Rahul Sankrityan will be welding the megaphone for Nani’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’. The title announcement poster of the film was unveiled a while back.
Multiple reports claim that Sai Pallavi has been roped in to play a key role in the film. This will be her second collaboration with Nani after MCA.
Interestingly enough, sources in the known revealed that in-form beauty Rashmika Mandanna was approached for another pivotal role in the film but she turned down the offer.
The exact reason behind Rashmika’s disinclination towards Nani’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ is unknown for now. Rashmika is one of the most sought-after heroines in the Telugu film industry presently and playing second fiddle does not seem to be in her best interest.
Shyam Singha Roy is expected to commence shoot in the month of August in Kolkata. Sithara Entertainments will be bankrolling the project.
