Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s son and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh on Monday filed his nomination paper for election to the Legislative Council of Andhra Pradesh under the MLA quota. Nara Lokesh garlanded a statue of his grandfather N T Ramarao at Venkatapalem before filing his papers at the Assembly complex in Velagapudi. Deputy CM KE Krishnamurthy, Chief Whip Kalwa Srinivasulu, Party State President Kala Venkat Rao have proposed the candidature of Nara Lokesh. Government whips, MLAs have extended support to it.
